Most Valuable Intermediary

Every year we have the pleasure to announce the winner of the VR Most Valuable Intermediary Award. The VR MVI has been awarded since 2005 to the individual who shows dedication to VR and their profession, is willing to help others when called on or by their own initiative.

They realize that entrepreneurs and soon to be business owners need assistance to reach their goals, and as an advocate and trusted advisor they take on this responsibility with determination.

Honesty and integrity are common threads in all our MVI’s, and as leaders in VR, they set the standards by which the entire organization is measured.

This year’s Most Valuable Intermediary took a different path than those who have come before him, but his background of putting others first has been his legacy.

This year’s VR MVI spent 21 years serving our country. Six years in the Infantry and 15 years in Special Forces where he made sure free enterprise was defended.

His awards prior to the VR Most Valuable Intermediary have been many and include; the Legion of Merit; The Bronze Star; The Defense Service Medal; the Joint Service Commendation Medal; the Meritorious Service Medal; the Army Commendation Medal; the Army Achievement Medal; the Iraq Campaign Medal with Arrowhead; the Global War on Terrorism Medal; the Army Service Ribbon; the Expert Infantryman Badge; the Special Forces Tab; the Ranger Tab; the Senior Parachutist Badge; and the Military Free Fall Parachutist Badge.

He joined VR in 2013 and has answered our call for assistance time after time. For those of you who have had the opportunity to have met Tim, realize this year’s MVI is no doubt one of the most humble individuals you will ever meet.

He was this year’s #1 VR Owner and it gives us great pleasure and honor to recognize VR’s true American hero, and 2016’s Most Valuable Intermediary, Colonel Timothy E. Bellon of Apollo Beach, Florida.
